My (new) entry for =buneep's contest, this is her OC Lucille.

...I deleted the last one ^^;

I'm also working on a animated version of this, but im having little a bit of trouble with the animation part of it ^^;

For the (lovely) people at RA: I'd like to be critiqued on the colouring and design. Just be straight up about it, please ^^;

she's flippin adorable! Love the shade of red you used. Very bright and vibrant. I like the way she is colored. It's a mix between hard and soft line.
As far as critique goes I have 3 things. 2 is just me being picky:
1. Make sure you double check all the lines and erase them where they shouldnt be. Parts of the drawing could also just be on the wrong layer. I do my best to double check my work, but i always miss something. It's mostly cuz I am not a good drawer and i'm still learning to draw digitally.
2. Strawberry's have black seeds. That's just me being picky ;D
3. I'd like to see the green leaves with more shape(me being picky again)

Kay, I'll go back and fix the lines, I can kind of see that if I look for it (I think it was mostly me being lazy ^^;)

Thats true, but I think the white seeds are better for the the cuteness/innocent factor than black seeds would be.

I had a bit of trouble with the leaves, but I think I'll go back and fix it a bit when I edit the lines.

You make a good point about the seeds ;D. Once I get better at drawing with line art ill have less mistakes.

:la: Yup, I use SAI, which has a stabilizer that makes my line art smoother, so that helps a lot :D

I use SAI too. I'm still learning it (and digitally drawing in general). I have a Wacom Bamboo-that thing is amazing with it. Adobe is slow and less fluid but i think that's a computer issue and not software.
